"This is probably the slowest feeling song I've ever written."
Make more slow songs. This is amazing, very well done. The laughter could not have been more perfect either. Kudos.

I love the synth work in this. Fantastic. Badass.

Great melodies.

Very harmonic. I think the synths could be better, though, or perhaps add a bit of attack on them and some faint pulsating pads behind them - something to ease the transitions between notes, sometimes it felt sudden and pointed, although this wasn't really noticable when the drums came in. It sounds like there is not a lot of EQing either. Really not bad at all, though. I enjoyed it, especially when the drumline came in. Nice fadeout, as well.

Thought I'd drop you a review since you commented my news post. Post more downtempo/ambient stuff, I'd like to hear more of it from you.

Hey, Neurotangent.
Yeah, downtempo... I'll keep that in mind.

I noticed that too (the note transitions aren't that great) , their actually software orchestral strings, which are pretty slow to change notes. I probably should have sped up the transition speed somehow.

Anyways, Thanks for the very constructive review.
See you in the future.

Very nice.

I thoroughly enjoyed this. Very chill, melancholically dreamlike. Highly listenable. Perfect for playing on a stereo on the patio on a sunny and relaxed, unwound day, while sipping an iced tea and looking about in a state of "everything's alright."

I'll be keeping an eye on you. Excellent work.

Very melodic

I quite liked it. I think this 1:46 song should be a buildup to a downtempo peak, with a slow, jazzy drumline of sorts. But it's great as is.

Excellent!

This tickles my fancy, very much. It's not often I draw inspiration from a song submitted on NG, but this is doing the job. I really loved this, very solid, I have no critique.

The melody invokes a feeling I can't quite place. It's kind of like some of the score music for Halo, some of the themes are not quite epic, not quite sad, they just kind of make you sit there in awe.

Anyway, I'll be keeping an eye on you for future ambient stuff like this.

ChampionAnwar responds:

Thank you very much, it's awesome to know that people appreciate what I do. I'll be sure to make more ambient music. I'm working on one now at the moment hehe. Thank you for the review and I hope you'll like what I have next :).

'Ooh, ooh, ooh'

3:23 is the bam diggidy. I would have liked that riff to have gone on for a bit longer before the squealy synth comes in, it's incredibly awesome.

Excellent work on this. I couldn't imagine doing a 14 min song anytime soon.

Nothing is repetitive, because the entire thing is one big journey of sound, you don't have a repeating melody for very long in any of this.

I remember the first dropbox link you sent me with the "ooh, ooh, ooh" synth as the framework for this, it really ended up turning out awesome.

InvisibleObserver responds:

Appreciated Mr.Nt.

Bam diggidy.

Dude.

I really wish this was longer. The vibe is amazing. The melody reminds me of some sort of epic Metroid sequence. Beat is steady, chill, and fitting. This is one of my favorites from you. :)

InvisibleObserver responds:

One day it will grow.

Downtempo industrial, nice.

Only problem I had was the melody that came in at 0:42. Didn't seem to go with the flow of the song well.

Beat was perfect, though, and the vibe was good. I enjoyed it!

Xiro responds:

For some reason, the imagery I had in mind at the time was some kind of fucked up carousel, hence the melody you're speaking of.
